Birchbox considers themselves “curators of products” — beauty products to be exact. On a subscription basis, they deliver a hand-picked assortment of deluxe-sized samples of high-end beauty products — those name brands potions that earn rave reviews but never go on sale. To kick-start this start-up, interactive marketing agency COPIOUS needed to create a visually stunning design, capable of turning heads even in the critical world of high-fashion. The site also needed the back-end ecommerce functionality to sell and manage subscriptions. The end result accomplished all that and more, leaving room to scale as business grows.
